Performance, Light Clients & Network Scale

Post-mainnet scaling improvements. These ship as v2.x updates after the April 2026 genesis — mainnet does not require their completion. Scaling the network to handle larger validator sets and higher transaction throughput, and enabling wallets to verify transactions without running a full node.

  • State compression — prune spent UTXOs after sufficient confirmations
  • DHT-based peer discovery (reduce reliance on hardcoded seed nodes)
